Modern-day digital photography has opened up almost endless possibilities for photographic art. The development and processing of photographs no longer takes place in a darkened laboratory filled with the acrid smell of developing fluids. For many years now photographs have been processed entirely on the computer screen, using methods that are constantly evolving and progressing.
Yet the seemingly unlimited selection of size and quality of cameras, the range of length and sensitivity of lenses have not, in my opinion, fundamentally changed the charm of photography itself, the capture in a split second in time of an image that fires the mind and imagination. The encapsulation of that fleeting magic moment usually involves hours, even days of patient waiting and an ongoing process of trial, error and uncertainty.
Every copy of my photographs is signed and numbered and can be adapted to a variety of sizes and print methods.
